The Alliance for Affordable Vision Care was founded in 2025 to ensure Americans and their families can enjoy the benefits of vision care, choose providers, and get the most value from their healthcare dollars.

Access to routine vision care helps maintain eye health, detect early signs of chronic conditions, and supports overall well-being. At the same time, maintaining affordable vision benefits is critical for employers, who rely on these benefits to support employee health, productivity, and retention. 

In recent years, there have been legislative efforts to deny patients the right to choose the vision care plan they want and need. These legislative efforts will result in higher costs for consumers, impact the quality and consistency of vision care, and reverse the progress made to improve vision care products and services. 

Our growing coalition works together to preserve the stability and affordability of vision benefits. We invite organizations and individual consumers to join the Alliance and help us advocate for policies that protect access to affordable vision care. Together we can amplify our collective voices and achieve more together than any one organization could alone.
